On our last late start day, we went to different classes to hear books about different traditions. We also shared about our own traditions. Last, we made cards for different schools around the country and the world. We had a fun time, and we learned about one another! We are excited to hear back from all the different places and learn about maps!
We counted collections. We had to count in piles of hungerits tens fives twos. It was really fun. We did math with partners. We counted groups of stuff! We did counting collections and we had a bag of materials and we dumped it and we had to see how many were there and find the total. We learned it is easier to count different ways like by 2s, 5s, 10s, 20s, and 100s. Pic collage is a app where you can take pictures and label them. You can put frames and change the backround. Ms. Davis, our tech teacher, came to teach us about it. We took pictures of different coins and found how much a scoop of coins was worth.
We are writing about our opinions about books. An opinion is what you think about something. Then we put them in envelopes for other people to read in our class. We also wrote our opinions about Kid President and what we thought was important that he said. Watch the video about what he says! |
